Facilities

Large Car Park

We are fortunate to have a very large car park with disabled spaces making the practice accessible to all.

Laboratory

Our own laboratory allows rapid results from blood and urine tests and microscopy.

Radiography and Ultrasonography

We have a digital X-ray suite and an ultrasound which is useful for scanning pregnant animals and for abdominal problems.

Two Operating Theatres

We have a separate, fully equipped, sterile Operating Theatre and a separate space to carry out dental procedures.

Separate Cat and Dog Kennels

When animals are hospitalised, it is very important to make sure they are comfortable, and stress is reduced as much as possible.

Visiting Physiotherapist and Orthopaedic Surgeons

This allows us to do more advanced procedures in house, allowing continuity of care for our patients. Ryan, Rob and Catalin are very experienced surgeons.

Services

Surgery

We are able to cater for most surgical procedures, including operations like BOAS or anal sac removal. We also have a specialist surgeon that comes to us to perform orthopaedic and more advanced surgeries.

Accupuncture

Our Vet Anna-Marie is qualified in veterinary acupuncture. Acupuncture has been proven to be beneficial in cases of arthritis and some other painful conditions.

Blood Tests

We are able to run most blood tests within the surgery, including progesterone tests (with same-day quantitative results using Idexx analyser) for breeding.

Pet Travel Documents

Lucy and Anna-marie are both OV’s (Official Veterinarian) meaning they have the qualifications needed for pet travel documentation (animal health certificates and export health certificates).

Skin Care

Does your pet have a skin complaint that isn’t resolving? We have a wealth of experience in diagnosing and treating skin disease.

Emergency Care

We have facilities to care for very poorly patients who are in need of emergency medical treatment and aftercare.
